Groovin’ at Lakeside at 5 pm!

At the Lakeside at 5 pm on November 28th, the lineup will include regular band member and collaborator Matt Lustri on guitar and vocals, co-collaborator Miroslav Bukovsky on trumpet, Luke Glanville on drums, and Eric Ajaye on bass.

Elise is keen to showcase the latest iteration of these tunes, featuring recent collaborator and integral part of the groove operation, Miroslav Bukovsky, one of Australia’s leading jazz trumpeters, composers and educators. Elise is also excited to perform with not only her fellow collaborators, Matt and Miroslav, but also an all-important rhythm section, Eric Ajaye and Luke Granville. Eric Ajaye, a renowned bass player, educator, and presenter on ABC Jazz, also played on Elise’s debut jazz album, City Lights, alongside Miroslav Bukovsky. Luke Glanville, who is well-known around town for his solid playing, says, “he is hanging on the coattails of great artists like Eric Ajaye, Miroslav Bukovsky, Dan Costa, Wayne Kelly, and John Mackey”.

This will be an entertaining concert. It will feature original songs that tell a story, songs that move you, and upbeat music that transcends all genres, blending influences and styles. Imagine whimsical, Studio Ghibli, jazz fusion, Snarky Puppy, and big band jazz rock, Blood Sweat and Tears – Earth, Wind & Fire origins (with a small band)!
